TIMES JAZIRAH, JAKARTA – Finding antique goods with historical value and worth price will be a good deal for those antiques lovers. And you can have this experience at Comboran Flea Market Malang, a heaven for such precious thing. 

This market is located at 4 different streets. The Jalan Prof. M. Yamin, Jalan Halmahera,  Jalan Sartono SH, and Jalan Irian Jaya Malang. It spans more than 1 kilometer long from end to end. No wonder you could almost find anything you need in this place. 

From those modern day necessities to some old fashioned things could be found around the area. Just name the thing you were looking for and the owner of the shop will show your their stuff. Or, at least they will show you the place which offer the thing you need. 

The Antique Shop at Comboran Flea Market 

For those antiques, you could directly set your map to Jalan Irian Jaya. Here, lays dozens of antique shop and vintage. Just name it and the good will be ready in a minute right in front of your eyes. Just luke what Totok Nyarianto has on his shop. 

The guy has hundreds collection of antiques on his shop. Most of them he got from the local previous owner or those from the real artisan in Mojokerto back then. Totok was just in love to this thing at first and then tuen the hobby into business. 

The guy has done his business for more than  years. This 56 year old guy open his shop daily from 09.00 to 15.00 local western times. Sometimes, when it  omes to busy day  he also close later than he used to. 

"Most of the good were taken from those artisan in Trowulan, Mojokerto.  And several belongs to my ptivate collection back then," Totok said on Wednesday (1/3/2023). 

How Totok Get His Collection of Antiques at Comboran Flea Market 

Beside some of his old collection, Totok also still hunt several antiques at least once a week to the neigbourhood cities. He also visits vintage looking house which he think has potential in keeping the antiques and give them some offer to the owners.  

According to him, those antiques which was 50 year old or more has higher value in the market. "But nowadays  people has started to realize how precious their antique sre and sell it for higher price," Totok added. 

Totok has hundreds of collection in his antique shop. The price ranges from only thousands to millions rupiah. "From the local to the neighborhood area, and even some foreign tourist has come to visit my shop," one of the owner of antique shop of Comboran Flea Market ended. (*)
