TIMES JAZIRAH, MADINAH – The Hajj Organizer Officers (PPIH) has arrived in Mecca, Saudi Arabia since yesterday (27/5/2023). They were deployed to the land of the pilgrims to help them organizing everything the pilgrims' needs while doing their hajj routine.

"The Hajj Organizer Officers (PPIH) from the Makkah Working Area (Daker) have arrived in Mecca on March 27, 2023. They immediately took their respective positions to welcome Indonesian Hajj pilgrims," said Chairman of PPIH Saudi Arabia 1444 H/2023 M, Subhan Cholid.

The Daker Mecca officers will be responsible for welcoming and serving the Indonesian Hajj pilgrims who have arrived in Saudi Arabia since the first day of their departure (24/5/2023).

The pilgrims who arrived in the first wave will stay in Madinah for nine days to perform Arbain (praying congregationally in Masjid Nabawi for 40 times). Gradually, they will be transported to Mecca starting from June 2, 2023.

The closest distance from the hotels to Masjid al-Haram is approximately 850 meters in Jarwal, while the farthest distance is about 4,339 meters in Syisyah.

During their stay in Mecca, the Hajj pilgrims will receive three meals per day with Indonesian menus. Some cooking spices are also imported from Indonesia.
