JAKARTA – Kemenag RI reported that there has been around 13 Indonesia pilgrims exposed by Covid-19. Those pilgrims were said to come from Surabaya.

"We got a report that some of the pilgrims that landed in Surabaya had gone through health screening. And turn out there were 13 pilgrims exposed by Covid-19," the Dirjen PHU of Kemenag RI Hilman Latief said on Tuesday (19/7/2022).

This case raised the Saudi Arabia government's awareness towards the safety and health of the pilgrims coming to their country. The fatigue and all the activities they have done has made their conditions drop and caught Covid-19 symptoms.

"Praise the lord it didn't last long, most of them could go better after taking those pills and vitamin the health center has. The thing is, not only for Covid, we have to take care of ourself from the dust, and other particle to keep the respiratory system," Latief added.

Not only the pilgrims, some officials from Kemenag RI were also caught the same symptoms. Latief said one of the factor was because they were ignoring their fix dining time. He also appealed to everyone to take care of their health and make it as their priority. (*)
