TIMES JAZIRAH, TASIKMALAYA – Do you love to play in the water? Surving on a board and having fun on it with typical river stream? Well then, you need to try this riverboarding at Ciwulan River Tasikmalaya, West Java.

Komunitas Republik Aer Tasikmalaya, the local community which dedicated themselves to love the local water area including local rivers have such an amazing activity they did almost every weekend. Its riverboarding.

They choose Ciwulan River which located at Leuwiliang, Kawalu, Tasikmalaya, West Java to release their hobby. They equipped themselves with board, life jacket, helmet, decker, pin, and wet short.

Riverboarding is not a common sport in the country, there then it's kind of difficult to find time perfect. But the community has some local craftsman to help them make the the perfect board they need.

"The first time I tried this sport it gets me addicted. It is nerve challenging, and could release the stress we have," Gugun Mjnawar, a beginner boarder said.

Gugun hopes that Ciwulan River could have some professional touch and become a nice tourist destination especially for riverboarding. This place would give the visitor another experience of enjoying the river and its beauty. (*)
