TIMES JAZIRAH, JAKARTA – Kampung Jepang which was planned to be established in Kepulauan Seribu has become a popular local topic nowadays. The local government said it will be prominent tourist destination for the city.

Junaedi, the Maor of Kepulauan Seribu said this place will help the local community to raise their living standard. It will help them to get away from the unprecedented crisis.   

“its such a prominent tourist destination which will raise help the locals with their economic condition,, especially those lives at Untung Jawa Island," Junaedi said on Friday (12/02/2021).

Kampung Jepang were planned to be established around Sakura Beach. PHE ONWJ and Pertamina Patra Niaga will help and support the development during the construction.

Kampung Jepang were planned to start to be build by the end of this month, around February 22. Sakura Beach will be filled with Japanese ornaments from the front door to the shoreline.

There will be some souvenir shops, Japanese bridge, and Japanese shade styles added to the beach. Several picturesque spot with Japanese ornaments will also be built to pamper the visitors. 

The local government of Kepulauan Seribu hopes that this place will give positive impact to the local community. "We are so lucky that PHE ONWJ and Pertamina willing to support the development of Kampung Jepang," Junaedi ended. (*)
