TIMES JAZIRAH, MALANG – UIN Maliki Malang must have been felt so relieved for they have managed to deliver the first class of Medical School students to reach their goal. Yes, several students from Medical School are graduated today on Thursday (6/8/2020).

“Always be humble. Those who have taken their vow have a huge responsibility in taking people trust in your shoulder,” The Rector of UIN Malang Prof. Dr. H. Abdul Haris, M.Ag said in his speech.

During this pandemic, the university only holds modest celebration. They didn’t invite much people to come and join the party. They even only take 3 of all graduate students to join the party representing other students that also graduate on that day.

The rest of the students joining the party through video conference along with their family. However, that has made them so happy that they could now call themselves as a doctor.

Those students had been appointed to do their first year of social labor in the nearest hospital.

“They will be sent to Dr. Soepraoen Army Hospital and Karsa Husada Hospital Batu,” Prof. Dr. Yuyun Yueniwati Prabowowati Wadjib, M.Kes., Sp.Rad The Dean of UIN Malang Med School said.

Beside the rector of UIN Maliki Malang and all the family of the graduate students, the Deputy of Minister of Religious Affair Zainut Tauhid Sa'adi also attending the graduation day via Zoom. (*)
