TIMES JAZIRAH, MALANG – UIN Malang has been well known to produce qualified  graduates from their English Major. Thus then answer all those questions whether should people choose to study English at this university or go with English course as non academic major.

It can't be denied that there has been lots of English course established around the country especially Malang. Each of them has their own qualifications and quality standard.

"Will it substitute the academic learning? Never. It won't be a threat for it has no graduate profile just like what a university has," Zainur Rofiq, M.A, an English lecturer at UIN Malang said  on Monday (25/1/2021).

Zainur which graduated from Radboud University Nijmegen Holland said that university has more complex and complete learning syllabuses. "University focuses not only on the performance but also competence," he added. 

He also said that most of those English course were born of those English graduates of certain universities that trying their luck on those businesses.  "They elaborate their skill after graduating," he said.

Meanwhile, towards the small scale of speaking area, this English lecturer of UIN Malang said that the students must be more flexible to find the new ways of interacting other english speakers. They could talk to native to the internet to broaden their speaking skills.(*)
