TIMES JAZIRAH, BALI – Npaaw and Monez, two artist of Bali hold an art exhibition at ARTOTEL Sanur Bali. The two named the exhibition as Berteman Kertas or Accompanied by Paper.

Most of Npaaw arts were surealistic and realistic art. He used animals to express his idiom. "I believe that the characteristics and the symbols we found in animals is all depends on our perspective," he said.

Meanwhile, Monez which has Ida Bagus Ratu Antoni Putra as his sure name was a local illustrator which had his master degree at ISI Bali. He has been doing his job for 15 years.

He worked as pattern designer for a textile company before. He then started to upload his art at his social media account. From there, he began to gain his fame on this industry.

Some of world level company such as Apple, Pro create apps, Affinity by Serif, Starbucks, Havaianas, Bali Zoo, Grab, Walt Disney Indonesia, and more had tried and used his skill.

As a freelancer, he works by himself accompanied his paint and brushes. He used the acrylic, water paint, and sometimes charcoals. On this either Npaaw or Monez tried to take people get another perspective about Bali.

Mranwhile, Agus Ade Surya Wirawan, the General Manager of ARTOTEL Sanur–Bali was so pleased towards the art exhibition. "It shows the issues we hold together in Bali recently," he said.

This General Manager of ARTOTEL Sanur Bali feels honored that they willing to hold the art exhibition at their hotel. "We hope everyone could enjoy this exhibition, especially our guests which stay at our hotel," he added.
