Mocktail coffee is a mixture of espresso, orange water, coconut, and many other fruits.

“We have it different here,” said the Founder of Nordic Marvell City, Christian Widjaja Hartono on Friday (5/3/2021).

The trend of mocktail coffee ala Nordic was known since the opening day of the first Nordic café in 2017 in the Region of Raya Tidar, Surabaya. Now, the wide variety of mocktail coffee becomes the new hit.

Nordic offers several mocktail coffees on the menu, such as the Sun-Kissed Summer. The fresh mixture of orange juice, espresso, caramel, and orange infused water.

There is also the Victoria’s Secret Garden. The refreshing mixture of sour and sweet taste at the first sip. It is made with espresso, lychee, lemon, and apple.

You can also choose your own favorite from the menu such as the Frosty Lime Negra, Berry Mecano, Mint Mocha, or Mocha.

According to Christian, you can only find those variants in Nordic Tidar and Nordic Marvell City. Many other cafés already have a similar variety of mocktail coffee, but you can only find the first and the most authentic mocktail coffee in Nordic.

Besides mocktails, if you prefer pure coffee drinks, you can also order a wide variety of Indonesian coffee from the menu. You can order Sumatran Semendo coffee, Aceh Gayo, Toraja, or Flores coffee. By adding Indonesian coffee, according to Christian, not only does it increases the prosperity of micro, small, and medium business enterprises, but it also educates people about the high quality of Indonesian coffee.

Various Delicious Dishes

Not only serving the best drinks from the tap, but Nordic also serves numerous mouthwatering dishes on the menu.

Delicious pasta, fried rice, various rice-based dishes, rice bowl, salad, sandwich, and various snacks. Those dishes come at an affordable price, from IDR 20,000 to IDR 55,000.

“They are all still affordable by the middle-class society,” said Christian.

Nordic comes with the interior concept of rustic industry and warm baby pink wall decors, thus it is a suitable place for you and your family or colleagues. It originally has a capacity of 90 people, however, due to the pandemic there is a limitation by the government, and the capacity is now halved. It opens from 11 AM – 9 PM by implementing the health protocols.

During the grand opening of mocktail coffee in Nordic Marvell City, there is a discount of 20 percent from 5 to 8 March 2021 and continued by 15 percent for all items on the menu. (*)
