TIMES JAZIRAH, JAKARTA – The panoramic train has become a popular search in Google lately especially by the local community of Indonesia. It is  all because the wagon itself was a new thing and just launched on December 4, 2022, right a day before Chritsmas. 

The wagon itself was planned to run on the railway from the day of the launching to January 8, 2023. It will only be operated for 2 weeks for public and the rest you could do advance booking for the wagon for personal use. 

The panoramic wagon was just a single chamber attached to Taksaka train which goes back and froth from Jakarta to Yogyakartaor all the way around. This wagon was considered as super exclusive train for all the facilities it has inside.

Each carriage was equipped with 6 pair of chair which can be adjusted and turned around depends on the passenger's need. The ceiling was made of thick fiber glass with a remote operated curtain. Commonly the management will open this curtain for it's the main reason people choosing this super luxurious wagon.

2. Modern Facilities

beside all those sophisticated technology on the wagon, you will also get yourself a nice facilities such as spacious immaculate restroom, a tv with super big screen, and spacious baggage claim on the entrance door. Not to mention all the snacks and drinks offered for free during your trip.

3. Worth the Money

During this holiday season, the management of KAI where this train was operated under gave such a nice discount for the ticket. During the normal time, each of the seat will cost you around IDR 1 M, meanwhile for this holiday seaon the ticket was distributed for only IDR 750 K/pax.

4. How to Get the Ticket

The ticket is available online. You could download KAI Access application in the play store and book your very own ticket and pay it in advance. The app was quite easy to access and understand, just don't forget to choose the right language for you. Exchange the ticket once you arrive at the railway station with the normal ticket.

5. Departure and Estimated Time of Arrival

Remember this wagon will only be operated for two weeks from December 24, 2022 to January 8, 2023. So, you better book your ticket in advance before it run out. these are the schedule for you. 

From Yogyakarta-Gambir (Jakarta)

Departure 12.00, arrival 19.30
Departure 21.40, arrival 05.33 (in the morning)

From Gambir (Jakarta)-Yogyakarta

Departure 10.40, arrival 18.39
