TIMES JAZIRAH, BANDUNG – It’s such a fresh air for all the hikers since Mount Puntang, Cimaung, Bandung, West Java as the favorite place for hiking has been reopened and ready to welcome them back tracking on the mountain.
This place has been being closed for another 3 days after being reopened for several weeks. The enclosure was because there was an issue that the local community positively exposed by Covid-19.
"It’s the local community, not one of our workers or the visitors. That’s why we decided to reopened this place for the hikers," Tedy Sumarto, the administer of Perhutani KPH Bnadung said on Monday (24/8/2020).
However, Tedy said that they will keep enforcing the new protocol standard to be applied by all the workers and visitors. This was to keep their own safety and to make them secure.
In addition, Mount Puntang, Bandung, West Java welcomes a fewer visitors during their first few week of reopening. "We have fewer visitors than we used to. I believe it’s because of the pandemic issue," he ended. (*)
